Dear Guest, in the Convent of Santa Croce you`ll spend wonderful and serene days, plunged into the idyll of one of the most striking Umbrian valleys, the Valnerina. The valley has been shaped down the centuries by the waters of the Nera river, among woods and mountains. Villages here exist in perfect harmonywith nature and art, and native people treasure the values of friendship and hospitality. In the Convent of Santa Croce you can enjoy a warm atmosphere, and the valley is so welcoming that you`ll consider it your second home. From the ancient cloister, housing the old well, you can enter the hall, and see its walls decorated by frescos depicting the life of Giovanni da Capestrano. If you go upstairs using the XVI century staircase, you can reach the 12 rooms, that will lift your soul up in a romantic and dreaming atmosphere. Every room has got the name of a monk in memory of the old monastic life.
